Yes I've read the whole document several times.

The solicitors are not going to say that:

A: JB has applied to undertake offence related work.

and then.....>

B: Put together an argument for the reasons why JB hasn't undertaken offence related work and this shouldn't effect the decision to downgrade him.

There is no confusion here, A is simply not compatible with B, therefore your interpretation of A must be incorrect.

Plus you appear to be contradicting yourself when you write - "There is no confusion here, A is simply not compatible with B, therefore your interpretation of A must be incorrect

Can you not see it?

Wanna bet? It happened in the SH case.

I can only assume that you are misinterpreting my posts.

The solicitor simply will NOT have stated that JB has applied to undertake offence related work in one breath.

And then explained the reasons why he is not willing to undertake offence related work, in the next breath.

It simply can't be the case.

And what I have been saying all along is that what other courses can the application be referring to other than offence related courses.

I've not read it all yet but have skimmed down to point 6 which I find very interesting. It seems JB lied to his legal team about having applied to complete courses and the Courts picked up on this..

"The committee noted that while your solicitors had stated on your behalf that you had applied to undertake various courses, reports from Long Lartin and Wakefield indicated that you had been unwilling to undertake offence related courses

Here is my original post...

Is your interpretation that Jeremy Bamber applied to undertake various offence related courses and then when he came to start them was unwilling to do so?

The document states that he applied to take 'Anger Management' and 'thinking skills' courses. Such things aren't 'offence specific' so perhaps these are what are being referred to?
