Whilst I fail to find any value in it, I, too, believe it. I think it must be to do with the personal gravitas of sticking to one's guns, whatever.

Hartley,if Jeremy " did " confess,believe you me,I'd NEVER add my support to anyone ever again. You don't know me really,do you ? You think I'm some sort of a raving lunatic who supports prisoners no matter what. WRONG !! Up until this particular case I've always been the type of person who has shunned prisoners and was of the attitude that " you've done the crime,now do the time ",and am still of that way of thinking. I'm not a Human Rights,nor a PC,Tree-Hugger or the like and least of all a pushover. It's just that I was introduced to the forum by Patti and had remembered this case when it happened so it refreshed my memory.

The last case I became " involved by letter of support " in was the Louise Woodward one where I KNEW that the girl wasn't guilty,and because her parents weren't a million miles from me,I used to correspond with them. Louise was a nanny in the States and was blamed for the death of a baby .
