Would be interesting to see how this develops I Believe this man is guilty however I would not have found him guilty based on the evidence. I think there is reasonable doubt. Is 46 years in Jail enough for the crime? http://www.people.com/article/jeffrey-macdonald-fighting-court-overturn-murder-conviction
A terrible and fascinating case David, with a tenuous link to Jeremy Bamber as he watched Fatal Vision shortly before he perpetrated his own massacre. As for MacDonald I doubt we will never know for sure now the key witness Helena Stoeckley is dead.
i use to think he might be incont but looking at the case im pretty certan he was guilty hes story about the hippys just doesnt add up.
well for me its macdonald story about the hippys that makes me think he did it.i mean kill the pigs hippys dident really say things like that.and how the hell did they get in and out of there without being seen
Well I think they were coming for their fix, supposing MacDonald as a doctor stored drugs in the house. Stoeckley had possibly been in the apartment on a previous occasion as she was able to describe the interior. Don't get me wrong-I think he's guilty, which should satisfy some of you anyway.
Do you think he should get the benefit of the doubt after 46 years inside?
I don't know enough about the case to pronounce on that. On the Bamber case I think Colin has behaved with so much dignity his wishes should be paramount.
In my Opinion, I am not convinced that Colin is fully certain of the events on that faithful night. But would not dare say anything of that nature publicly because it would give Jeremy allot of credibility.Don't forget he never questioned the original version of events and he knew Sheila and the Bamber's well.
Jeremy ingratiated himself with Colin over a protracted period with the angle that he had been cajoled into marrying his sister and his parents were attempting the same strategy with himself. Colin felt guilty at being unfaithful during the marriage and ultimately abandoning her and regarded his brother-in-law as a friend. In retrospect Colin and Sheila were incredibly trusting individuals.
does not change the fact that Colin never questioned the events pre mugford coming forward and the impending media circus
