Not me making trouble, it was JACKIE who implied that in order to be a murderer, you needed a violent background. You said the idea was TOSH.

I didn't read all the posts,so wasn't aware that Jackie made the remark, however, the same applies to women. They don't have to be mental either.

NOBODY " needs" a violent past in order to be a murderer at all. What tosh !

I agree. That was Jackie's point that we were arguing against. Nice to finally agree with you on something.

I agree, you don''t have to have had a violent past to be a murderer.

This is what I find so bizarre about your posts Lookout - you are admitting here that 'women' do not need to be 'mental' in order to murder..  Yet you fail to apply this comprehension to Sheila? This is just one example btw - I could list loads but can't be bothered..

Surely you see when you contradict yourself?

How do manage with your conflicting thoughts/beliefs?

Because I don't believe Dr Ferguson's diagnosis of schizophrenia that's why,and firmly believe that Sheila was more than capable of murdering on the spur of the moment.

Do you think she wasn't as I'll as they made out?

Yet another of your contradictions Lookout. No disrespect intended, just hoped by pointing it out you may consider it...

I think exactly that,Hartley.

But isn't your argument that NEW medical records of Sheila's have been sound, showing that she was iller than we knew?

Least that was your argument last week.

I've seen mentally ill and most are so down that they don't socialise in any way,and barely leave their homes let alone go to clubs and parties, etc. That would be the last thing on their minds. That's mentally ill. These poor souls can't be bothered about their appearance, let alone paint their nails or even think about enhancements of any sort. Yes,Sheila was crying out in a way,but went the wrong way about it as well as in the wrong direction because nobody understood her. Sadly,in the end,she made sure she'd be recognised and listened to. In other words her frustration built up like a pressure cooker and she blew.
The " shaking " bit with Sheila could have been the effects of noxious drugs and not prescribed medication as would have been mood swings which also occur before and during the PMT stages. Women are violent during PMT alone without  the added drugs to exacerbate it. Drug withdrawal encourages violence too, whether it be from prescribed or otherwise.

Believe me they are,Steph and it's all down to hormones. Some women are chronic. Just read about PMT and crime/s/murder. It's the same hormone imbalance that makes mums murder their babies/children.

So you mean you now believe it was nothing to do with SC mental illness and everything to do with PMT?

Today we'd call it PTSD, but after Sheila's first abortion at 17 and no counselling or support given to my knowledge,it's not surprising that PMT would be a troublesome time ( hormones )
Abortion is a LOSS as were the miscarriages she had and enough to send any woman over the edge.

We learned that Sheila had a period during the tragedy and none of us knew how she'd felt about,or prior to that. Lots of women feel rough and  are also at their most vulnerable when the least thing goes wrong as they fly off the handle much quicker than they normally would.
