And so, as time is passing by, more and more evidence is coming to light to show that there was more than one silencer in police possession in connection with this case - (SBJ/1) found by DS "Stan" Jones at the scene on 7th August 1985, another silencer handed into DS Jones, by Peter Eaton on evening of 12th August 1985, and a different silencer (DRB/1) found in the gun cupboard, and handed over to the police, on 11th September 1985...
How could all these three different silencers, SBJ/1, DB/1 and DRB/1, all be one, and the same?
Perhaps we should look at more evidence that helps us to unravel what took place regarding the misuse of these different identical looking Parker Hale silencers?
I think we will concentrate next, on Glynis Howard, who allegedly received a silencer (SBJ/1, DB/1, DRB/1) for examination on 13th August 1985:-
