Your tape measurement is not a lie Jane and neither is Boyce's it depends on your angle of view.

Unfortunately there is no easy way to explain this, it's a shame that some of you think that Boyce deliberately lied, but I guess some of you are so biased you cannot think straight?

If the projection of the handle is 1 and the displacement is 1 then we would get your dimension of 1.4 and in what I think is the angle Boyce used then we get 1. Obviously using real world numbers would be different.

I cannot make it any easier, it's a shame some of you gleefully slated Boyce before stopping to think first.

I wasn't suggesting that Boyce deliberately lied, any more than I'm suggesting that I'm another Einstein. All I am is an AGA user. I look at the lump of iron on a daily basis. I can see the sticky out pieces and I can see the pieces which don't stick out as far as other sticky out pieces. I can also see that the distance between two of the sticky out pieces is much greater than the distance between the marks on Nevill's back. Boyce's scientific workings out can't alter that.

Wouldn't surprise me if Curiosity is also CC. Signed up here 7 month ago but only started posting a few weeks ago around the time CC was exposed as KillingEve.
This constant obsession with who people are, whether or not they've changed their minds about Bamber and ferreting through their profiles and previous posts is a sure sign of your own insecurity, David.

Were Jane, Zoso, Holly/Cambridge not free to swap their allegiance, just as YOU have done in the past?

Are you the resident watchman, constantly on guard to check anyone who now thinks Bamber guilty from freely expressing their views, or is this an exclusively JB innocent forum?

And I'm sure you must bake some exceedingly good cakes, pies and mushy peas with it too.

As in previous posts I very much doubt they were caused by AGA handle and catch, and we don't even know if it was lit on full blast or dampened down overnight, unless there are unseen documents which reveal more.

The burns imo are the result of instantaneous heat as one might expect with "branding" using something red/white-hot applied for only seconds, eg. cigar, cigarette, poker, or something else (inserted into the fire thro' the hotplate plug-hole?), rather than prolonged contact with anything at a lower temperature.

Vanezis suggested to CAL they were recent burns which could even occur through a material (NB's pyjama top) without affecting it, although the loose fitting collar could just as easily have been pulled back slightly to reveal the nape and apply heat when his head was resting in the fuel hod. So I'm not swayed by my doppelganger's view they were remnants of a spinal operation during or after WWII.

Contact with hot farm machinery earlier in the day?

I once thought a stray or deflected red-hot brass casing (the 4th missing one?) was a possibility, lost when the body was removed to the mortuary, but the Eley.22 casing size compared with the burns is different, so maybe that's a blind alley too.

I guess we'll never know, unless the culprit reveals all.

Agree it could be a poker or a rifle nozzle heated in the flame of the aga.

Why do you think Bamber burnt Nevill's back after the 4 shots and violent kitchen attack?

Heating the barrel end could alter/destroy the bluing which would have been noticeable to investigators, I think.

As to who or what caused them and why, better write to the internet celebrity himself. You're sure to get a truthful answer.

Doubt that heating a rifle nozzle hot enough to burn skin would have left evidence on the nozzle.

If it would have, Bamber couldn't have claimed Nevill's burn marks were made minus silencer in 2012.

The three options were murder weapon, another rifle, poker.

OK, Thanks. I wonder if Dr.V still chews the conundrum over at night instead of counting sheep.
Exactly Curiosity!
Wouldn't it be interesting to hear Vanezi's view on Boyce's evidence.
No doubt he knows about it but cant comment I suppose while it is with the CCRC.

I guess he will say,  "Hypostasis was consistant with the position Neville Bamber was found in at the scene,  confirmed by the raid team and Dr Craig"  how much have you been paid this time to change your mind from the Rifle minus silencer evidence you was so sure about"  go away and work your math's around that one Mr Boyce?

Tragically there was virtually nothing to stop Bamber. Despite the low powered rifle -

Sheila - Too weak, unbalanced, uncordinated, drowsy.

Daniel - Too young.

Nicholas - Too young.

June - Too weak.

Add to this they were all sleeping.

A fully fit & ready Nevill could have stopped him. But he was ambushed in bed & received 2 face shots. Then another 2 torso shots out of bed.

Nevill's condition gave Bamber free reign to inflict the 40+ bruises and lacerations in the kitchen. Nevill briefly able to wrestle for the rifle.

Nevill being bare footed in a confined space was another disadvantage.

He wasn't ambushed as I've told you before

Bruce trying to goad. Quoting a post from 7 days ago.

Of course Nevill was ambushed. How else would Bamber get the rifle nozzle inches from his face without resistance.

Bruce?

If he was ambushed he wouldn't have got downstairs.

Then you would be totally wrong!  I am NOT Holly, Cambridge, KE, or anyone else on this forum. Furthermore as a teetotaller/abstainer I prefer to keep my brain from becoming befuddled and my liver in good nick.

I'm sorry you've been put in a position of having to explain yourself.
