Stephanie uses me in most of her posts,so why can't I bite back ?
So,your idea of the Bibles is ridiculous, those are your thoughts so why argue with mine ?

My idea? My 'idea' is that the stain is on the wrong page to have come from the stain on the carpet. That's actually not an idea - it's a FACT. Answer me this - why would they have needed to swap the bible?

For goodness sake-------did I mention stains and carpets ? NO. Your idea was that there'd been ONE Bible !
I say there'd been two, one of which was June's,the well-worn one that she obviously took to church with her notes in it,and one which had been free from creases and turned-up edges.
To EP,a Bible's a Bible whoever it had belonged to so because they hadn't known the background of the family probably decided to use just one.

I might be a lot of things Lookout but  am NOT a mind reader - perhaps you should be more clear in your accusations?

As far as EP go, a piece of evidence if a piece of evidence, why use a bible not involved in the scene, instead of the original one? It doesn't make any sense.

what about it  ???

It's very creased, but on the pic of the Bible face up, where you can see the corner of the cover, it's not creased.

Lookout was clearly discussing the corner of the Bible cover, so you don't need to be a mind reader.

She also referred to 'my idea' and \I have never had an 'idea' about the corner of the corner of the bible.

Meaning that your idea of the Bible/s is different to mine. Your idea being that both pics of the Bible are the same book, whereas my idea is that they look like two different Bibles.
It's not a hanging offence that I referred to " your idea "  ::) Goodness me.

How do they look different Lookout? You and Kaldin have both argued that you would be able to tell the corner was dog eared and yet .......

I wonder if Kaldin is willing to support this reply? You appear to be saying that ONLY the blue bible (I thought you said there were two) has some kind of magical properties that would allow you to see through the pages and see the dog eared corner! Only that bible could prove whether this is true or not. No other bible in the world (clearly NOT the one I have provided) can disprove your theory? Is this a position you are willing to stand by even though  the pictures show that the weight of the pages hold down the dog eared corner and as such, it isn't visible?

I think somebody on here previously tried to match the two separate images up?

I did, you only have to go back to page one of this thread!
