Re this theory that the large stain of blood on the page of the Bible is a hand print, what happened to the rest of the hand print? Could the Bible have been on Sheila's lap and the rest of the hand print, ie from fingers, are those which are on her nightdress?

I think somebody on here previously tried to match the two separate images up?

Wonder how many times I have suggested that?  :-\

Can you remember when somebody married up the images on here?

I'm not sure how likely it is because the stains on the nightdress are quite far to Sheila's right.

A few weeks ago I done an experiment. I put some oil on my hand and placed it on an old t-shirt I was wearing. It looked nothing like what is on Sheila's dress  :-\

I now believe what we are looking at could be a transfer stain from three blood runnels on her forearm.

Well done for doing the experiment! I've also considered that it could be a transfer stain from the blood trails on her arm, but the "finger stains" are going the wrong way (I think).

There are images on here where the 'bible palm' is married up to the 'finger marks' on the night dress.  I'm pretty sure the fit was feasible.

By the way - your latest theory reverses the direction of the runs.

I simply can't understand the issue of the Bible at all. The photo of it page up makes it look like a completely different Bible, and the lack of blood on the cover of the Bible face down makes no sense. We know that the Bible was closed and reopened at some point after it got blood on it. How none went on the cover is a mystery to me. The large blood stain on the carpet doesn't appear to have been transferred to the Bible when it was face down, which is another mystery.

There are no photos of the "note" inside the Bible either - that should have had blood on it.

To me,they still look like two different Bibles. The black and white pic shows a Bible in pristine condition, whereas the "usual " coloured pics show a " well-worn/handled " one which is rather dog-eared.

Yes, I think so too. I know it's in a different position, but there's no sign of the dog ears at all on the pic of it face up, and the pages are not scuffed as you'd expect.

There is no blood on Sheila's fingers. Image below you can see the upper inside of her index finger. Its not feasible at all.

How so?

It's the same one. Why do people try to complicate things all out of proportion?

Even that Bible looks different to the one which was pictured containing the " Love Everyone " note and doily. Where were the said articles at that stage btw ??

I can only go on those photos, and I see complications with them. How do you know it's the same one?
