Let me hit the nail on the head, it was never Jeremys legal teams responsibility to prove and establish that the moderator purchased by Ralph Bamber in November 1984, did not have 17 baffles, it was the sole responsibility of the prosecution to establish that fact beyond reasonable doubt. In the circumstances of this case, I do not believe that the prosecution satisfactorily established this as a fact beyond reasonable doubt, in view of the fact that (a) at least three other relatives owned 17 baffled Parker Hale moderators from before the time of the shootings, these three relatives being, (1) Anthony Pargeter, (2) David Boutflour, and (3) Robert Boutflour. There is also something of importance and significance that Jeremy confided in me in the past which I have no reason whatsoever to doubt, and this is that (b) Peter Eaton, and Ann Eaton, also both owned Parker Hale moderators from a time before Ralph purchased his in November 1984...
So, we have no less than 5 relatives, who owned 17 baffled parker hale moderators, from before November 1984, all of whom became key figures in the prosecutions case that was brought against Jeremy Bamber in late September 1985, these being:-
(1) - Anthony Pargeter
(2) - David Boutflour
(3) - Robert Boutflour
(4) - Peter Eaton
(5) - Ann Eaton
Set against this, was the purchase of a new Moderator at the back end of November 1984, by Ralph Bamber, which almost certainly was a 14 baffle plate designed Parker Hale moderator. Even if it had been from old stock and the moderator purchased by Ralph Bamber in late November 1984 had 17 internal baffles, how sure can anybody be that the contaminated moderator belonged solely to the Bambers?
