Quite right, but the influence is there
Sandy can I ask would you go to bed with a self confessed killer.
I have just had a horrible that Sandy may be a man. Appologies.

If there was something in it for her, most certainly!

She did sell her story which just goes to show where her priorities lie.

Please listen, Sheila did NOT do it. Sheila was murdered along with her family. How could she shoot herself twice. Did she think after the first shot had failed, she decided to have another go. I dont buy this. She loved her kids,as most women do, and would have protected them to the best of her ability.
Look deeper than Sheila. She may of been unbalanced, but to blame her is unjust in my opinion, as Mike would say.
This leaves Jeremy, or a third party.
We have yet to hear about the father who,s son Ralph sent down, who swore revenge. In fact the police  took this threat so seriously they installed a security device. Cant understand why Ralph never used it.
Did Seila put the gun under her chin, and shoot herself, ask yourself. would you. the answer is NO.

Hi Cliff, The thing is, what you or i would do is irrelevant. She could have possibly shot herself twice so it needs to be considered. The evidence used to convict Jeremy is circumstancial and the physical silencer evidence is questionable at best. The Nevill to JB phonecall part of the story is what i find to be the weakest part of his story. If the phone bill can prove it then he should be released.

This call for all we know was made by the hit-man letting Jeremy know the deed was done and after he had phoned the police.

but JB has been convicted of the murders not the hitman

He would be guilty just the same. Complicity in murder.

But this would have been confirmed one way or the other by the tapes...

Tapes ??

If it could be proved that JB hired him/her.

Course she couldn't have done it.

I personally believe that Jeremy knew that he wasn't going to get as much as he thought from Ralph and June and that the two grandchildren would come of age and he would get even less.  Mugford's evidence may be controversial but there is always a ring of truth in such evidence.

He probably did discuss killing them with Mugford but she probably assumed he was having a rant, not realising that he was deadly serious.  A hit-man would have been the obvious way to go and Jeremy knew that he would have the money to pay him.

Mugford is lucky that joint venture legislation has only recently been introduced.

I cant believe Jeremy would have discussed the murder of his family, although I do not discount this. Bear in mind that he was not madly in love with JM, this is why he ditched her. After all she was not really attractive. I know beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but he should have gone to specsavers springs to mind. Anyway Sandy nice to cross swords with you, and look forward to the next encounter

Young guys do some funny things when they are in a relationship.  They will promise just about anything to bed the right girl so Jeremy's comments to Mugford don't surprise me in the least.

I bet he regrets it now though??  ::)
