Mugford has alresdy been discredited. Sold story ect.

Just because she sold her story to The News of the World for £25,000 doesn't make it any less believable.

She also promptly left the UK with an agreement never to be extradited back for any appeal.

Please listen, Sheila did NOT do it. Sheila was murdered along with her family. How could she shoot herself twice. Did she think after the first shot had failed, she decided to have another go. I dont buy this. She loved her kids,as most women do, and would have protected them to the best of her ability.
Look deeper than Sheila. She may of been unbalanced, but to blame her is unjust in my opinion, as Mike would say.
This leaves Jeremy, or a third party.
We have yet to hear about the father who,s son Ralph sent down, who swore revenge. In fact the police  took this threat so seriously they installed a security device. Cant understand why Ralph never used it.
Did Seila put the gun under her chin, and shoot herself, ask yourself. would you. the answer is NO.

Hi Cliff, The thing is, what you or i would do is irrelevant. She could have possibly shot herself twice so it needs to be considered. The evidence used to convict Jeremy is circumstancial and the physical silencer evidence is questionable at best. The Nevill to JB phonecall part of the story is what i find to be the weakest part of his story. If the phone bill can prove it then he should be released.

The firearms officers who were the first to see her body noted that her feet and hands
were “perfectly clean”. Her fingernails were well manicured and not broken and there were no marks or indentations on any of her fingers. All her fingertips were clean and free from any blood, dirt or powder and there appeared to be no trace of any lead dust or coating which is usual when handling .22 ammunition.

Had Sheila reloaded the .22 rifle with 25 rounds on at least two occasions, she would have had residue on her inner hands and fingers.

Sheila had a choice of guns which her father kept locked away, he was very strict about this…Jeremy wishes the public to believe he left a loaded gun and ammunition on the kitchen table. Ralph Bamber would have laughed at the thought…he had two young boys in the home…The guns were ALWAYS locked away.

How do you know for sure all the guns were locked away - do you/did you know the family?

I notice you've seen

(although obviously things have moved on from then)

Put it this way Sarann, if you had dangerous weapons in your home and your two grandsons aged 6 came to visit, would you leave them lying about??   ;)

With two six year olds around, i would hope that the guns were locked away. JB leaving a gun and magazine lying around with kids in the house i find very irresponsible.

This call for all we know was made by the hit-man letting Jeremy know the deed was done and after he had phoned the police.

No. But I'm not Nevill and I didn't know him - and maybe something was going on that made him overlook the security of the guns

When you have guns in your house you just don't overlook such things Sarann.  It is a legal requirement that such weapons are kept in a secure cabinet at all times.  As a magistrate, Ralph would have known this.
