Not sure what they are either - it's just a saying for when someone seems to be over reacting 'keep ye britches on'

Wow Scipio you do have some experiences with the ladies being chased down the street by naked ones others shaking their booty and now looking with sheer admiration and longing at what is under the kilt ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D you are indeed blessed ;)

I never got chased by a naked woman I was on a coke machine. I never scored a try in rugby either (I got a boken anle and lots of burises merely) so didn't have to streak. I was the boring one of my group.

That's a new one I can honestly say I never heard that ever before. Sounds liek it might be similar to our, "don't get your panties in a bunch"

The strange sayings over here are usually from down South they have some really odd but funny ones (funny to Northerners anyway).

Caroline we always say keep your hair on ;D ;D ;D ;D if one has any of course ;D

Even better to say to a bald person, usually we say don't get your panties in a bunch to a man for the extra zing.

Yes, they are similar.

Most regions have sayings unique to the areas.  Most are amusing. Some, in dialect, are incomprehensible :D

Well before doing one of your usual over the top 'I put it to you' monologues (think the horse just bolted on that one  ;D ;D), perhaps you should wait until you have seen the log for yourself before putting words in my mouth about why it think it MIGHT have been altered.

BUT just for starters, I don't think there was a phone call from Neville, if I thought that I wouldn't think Jeremy was guilty now would I? However, the log MAY (that's MAY) have been rewritten simple to make the times fit better..

My post was all inclusive of the various arguments being made not just those by you.  You didn't seem to address my point about the time though.  1) the times match on both I don't see how the deifference cna be used to suggest there is another gloating around that is materially different from both of these and neither is the original.  2) if they were going to adjust the time they would adjust it to match Bonnett's. It makes no sense that they woudl change a time and yet make it different than Bonnett's statement if the goal was to change them to make the times fit better.

So I still don't get where you are coming from.

They do indeed match but one looks as though it has been altered - which is why I said it MIGHT have been.

You said 'on a coke machine' which sounds like some contraption powered by coke. I was being pedantic - there is a lot of it about today :)
