I imagine that for the MOST part, leaving aside the odd lapse, he complied OR behaved in such a way that convinced them he was trying......
Or such behavior could be consistent with a cold blooded, calculating murderer who went on to  eliminate everyone who was standing in the way of a wandering and warped mind.
What did the judge say when passing sentence about Jeremy......... something like despite an outwardly presentable appearance Jeremy was warped, callous, and evil, almost beyond belief?
I wonder how the judge knew that, he was not a psychologist or psychiatrist. All professionals who have put him through thexrelevant tests find he has no trace of psychopathy or mental illness.

Hi haughton

I was told on this forum by a Solicitor that it was the Judges summing up that got Jeremy Bamber convicted. He could only go off the evidence presented before him and that amounted to very little :'(

Yes Susan, when the judge told the jury it HAD to be either Sheila or Jeremy, I think his underlying words were "........................and as we know it WASN'T Sheila..........................." This would have severely limited their choice.

The Judge does his summing up before the Jury are sent out to reach their verdict. He obviously did a convincing job.

it would help if the jury could say why they convicted him but of course they cant.

Hi nugnug it is interesting to note that they all had the same evidence but two were not convinced of his guilt. Wonder if any of them are on our forum.

Hi curiousessex  I would not call entering your own property by a window would be considered as "breaking in" and all this information about makeup to make him appear white and buying all the newspapers available where did this come from I wonder would it have been Julie.  I read on this forum that Jeremy used a false tan on his face in order he would not been seen when on the bike to WHF wearing his wetsuit :'(

Susan, I am afraid the property was not Jeremy's to gain entry to.

Jeremy was not entering his own property by a window. Jeremy was entering a property which did not belong to him.  FACT

Hi curiousessex  sorry I did not know that but he did have the keys so he could have entered by the door if he had not left them behind.  I have read how he was removing valuables from the house to sell in London so I am surprised nobody put a stop to that such as the relatives who would know he did not own the house.  How strange is all this.  The police had to ask his permission to burn carpets etc from the house they must have thought he owned the lot.

Jeremy claims he entered WHF after the murders to get documentation for his holidays. Why were these documents at WHF ? He had not lived there for a long time.

Perhaps Jeremy realised it was clean up time.

Susan.

Jeremy did not have the keys to White House Farm. When the police offered Jeremy the keys to White House Farm he did not want them. The police did ask Jeremy's permission to burn carpets etc. when leaving the scene the first time.

At the time Jeremy was the only surviving family member who was employed and working on the farm. As such it was Jeremy who was asked the question. After leaving the farm  on 6th August 1985, having previously gone out to 'shoot rabbits', I do not think Jeremy has been back to work on the farm.

The farm was a part of a trust that is owned by others. Nevill ran the farm on behalf of that trust. However, the possessions and chattels inside the house will have been items that belonged to June and Nevill etc.
