2 BODIES ON THE FLOOR
« on: March 06, 2011, 02:00:PM »
It was stated by a police sgt that there were 2 bodies on the kitchen floor, one was a woman with a rifle beside her. how could he have been mistaken ?  It is not possible that he imagined it; there were 2 bodies on the kitchen floor, no mistake! BUT, that policeman is now dead and his notes that would have cleared Jeremy have "gone missing". How convenient for the police. They might have been accused of alowing Shiela to die. Can't have that can we?

Who was the police sgt who stated that there was a woman on the floor with a rifle beside her, and is there a document to support that?

I can't remember who that sgt was but I've read it often enough, also that there were notes refering to this. Was this fact or fiction

"one dead male and one dead FEMALE ON KTCHEN FLOOR"

It doesn't mention the floor and it doesn't mention a rifle ...

So dangerous to start embellishing what was said.

It was thought he could see two bodies in the kitchen, a male and a female - this 'error' was then perpetuated a few times back at the control room (understandably)
When police actually entered the kitchen, a male was identified.

There is a lot of debate about how someone might have (or not) seen two bodies.
- Some believe he DID see two bodies and Sheila got up between the sighting and the entry
- Some believe that two bodies were found on entry, and that as the police continued to secure the house, Sheila got up, went upstairs and shot herself.
- Some belief (as per the court findings) that the police officer was mistaken.

It IS hard to understand how the officer made the initial mistake, BUT a lot depends on how it actually happened, and the wording used...

If you say "Think I can make out a body, could be two, one looks male but the other looks female" that gives one sort of impression.
If you say "Two bodies identified, one male, one female" that gives a much more certain impression.

The chances of Sheila getting up after being seen are slight but feasible (if she played dead having seen the police or was unconscious for a period of time due to a first shot to the throat)

The chances of Sheila having moved whilst the police were in the house seem far less to me, although still possible - but if she did, this would certainly start to fall into the Police cover up realm (embarrassed this happened whilst they were in the house?) - It still seems strange to feel a need to cover it up.
