Hi lookout I am wondering like you where steve  obtains all his information he seems to have a vast knowledge on womens issues i.e. monthly periods, garters and he can quote words from Julie's mouth and Jeremy's reply he has a vast knowledge on Julie's present life the names of her children even the salary she is making.  Just saying.

I have wondered about these things too. BTW, you have a wonderfully funny way of expressing yourself.

How come, hand swab documentation gives three different times (11am, 2;30pm, and 3:15pm) when SC's hand swabs were taken?

Seems to me, that there must have been three lots of hand swabs taken from Sheila Caffell, first lot at 11am whilst Sheila's body was insitu on the bedroom floor with rifle still on her body, and her right hand still resting on the ammunition magazine of the rifle - since it was not until 11:10am, that PS Woodcock states, he removed the rifle from the body, and made it safe. So, a picture is beginning to emerge for the possible reason why the original hand swabs taken at 11am, were rejected at the lab' (Lab' item 17, DRH/33) due to possible contamination. DC Hammersley must have taken Sheila's right hand swab whilt it was still resting on the sooty gun...

Police took two more sets of hand swabs from Sheila, one at 2:30pm, and the other at 3:15pm - it must follow, that by the time the first set of swabs had been taken at 11am, that the levels of lead deposit which would have been present on Sheila's hands through handling the additional .22 bullets used in the shootings which had to be reloaded into the gun, became reduced in stages, so that by the time of the second swabbings at 2;30pm, the amount would have been dramatically reduced, and by the time of the third swabbings (3;15pm) virtually non existent...

It is as plain as day, why there were only low levels of lead deposit found on the set of swabs sent back to the lab' and why the results utilized by the prosecution to suggest that Sheila had not handled bullets required to have carried out the shootings - third lot of swabs were used, not second or first lot...

Hi Susan,,I agree too. It's a brilliant way of being aware,,and also making others see that there are always two sides to a " story " without remaining wholly biased. A grand thing, this internet. 8)

Hi Maggie and Good Morning to you too.
I think this is a great help all round,,and it does make you appreciate just how loyal people can be. Mike has my admiration for that,,and I'm not just saying that " from behind the confines of a screen " for if Mike was ever in my area,he'd be more than welcome to call in and see for himself how I do rate him.

I would agree with you lookout.  We all know and many appreciate that Mike's health is not too good but he doesn't ever let that get in the way of his search for the truth ......cheers Mike  ;D ;D ;D ;D
