Amanda Knox to face murder retrial

The  Italian Supreme Court has overturned the aquittal of Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito and they are to be retried for the murder of Meredith Kercher.
I know not everyone will be pleased to hear this,but I most certainly am!

Hello tyler I am delighted to hear this but sad to say I do not think she can be made to return to Italy if found guilty again.  It will I suspect take years.

Hi Susan......yes,I have read that if found guilty,Italy may not be able to extradite her.

I must be alone in thinking Amanda Knox and her other half didn't do it then. I think the media hyped a lot of things up in this case, especially when the two of them were stood outside the house, they weren't being lovey dovey, they looked shocked to me.

I'm a don't know! I am swayed into thinking that they were both not guilty.  I don't understand Italian law, but I believe as it stands at the moment, she and her boyfriend were found innocent.

I think kissing each other on the lips was not appropriate behaviour after just finding the dead body of a close friend especially as she knew she was being filmed.  Attention seeking but I know that type of behaviour does not make her a murderer just like Jeremy Bamber's behaviour after the deaths of his family did not make him a killer.  People all react in different ways when in shock and we must not judge people by their actions and behaviour.

I thought this might happen.  The Perugia authorities obviously believe that they had the right culprits.  From what I learned of the case, I felt Knox/Solecito knew more about that night than they were claiming.

It looked to me like he was trying to console her, I can imagine it being a shock coming home to find someoen dead in your house whether you liked them or not. I don't agree with Amanda Knox mentioning Patrick Lamumba's name, I don't know why she did it but I don't think either of them were involved.

The Casey Anthony case is a bizarre affair to me but thats another story for another day as are Louise Woodward and Peter Falconio.

I must admit I had thought she had a trial by media.  That one kiss of affection, which lasted under 3 seconds hit the headlines and could have changed peoples opinions of her, meaning that kiss showed an uncaring side....I like you do not think that this made either of them killers.

She is guilty from the start its in her eyes , as i understand the United States and Italy signed or re newed the extradition treaty in the Reagan years, the Italian court can request a extradition as long as they can prove evidence shows guilt, i suspect they have found fresh evidence, i hope she re starts her 26 year jail term a horrible confident bitch.

Yes Roch I watched a programme last week on true entertainment and she was into kinky sex not sure that Meredith was but I really feel Amanda Knox and her then boyfriend were at the scene that night although may not have been involved in the actual murder.
