Well, I don't know whether it was pivotal, butshe claims to have been called in numerous times by police to establish a profile of an offender. As I say, she is a criminal profiler, not a Miss Marple whodunnit character.

A race against time..https://youtu.be/DmuzDHf9Xzo

When?  Who?

I would put her in the same box as Paul Harrison.

I agree with his comments about CB and German prosecution but disagree with his comments re McCanns responsible in the literal sense.  Utter madness to leave children that age unsupervised in an unlocked holiday apartment accessible to all those who witnessed the modus operandi.

What has always amazed me is that Christopher (Chris) Tranmer who visited the flat directly above flat 5A on Sunday 29th April and Thursday 3rd May/night of MM's disappearance was not even interviewed!!!!!

The Tranmers had nothing to do with Madeleine's abduction.

Ah yes, a disgraced and dismissed former lead detective of the inept PJ who is also a convicted perjurer. The guy who promised Kate McCann a lighter sentence if she admitted to killing and disposing of her daughter.  I'm not surprised she told him to FO.

The Tranmers had nothing to do with Madeleine's abduction.

Given they were in such close proximity shortly before she disappeared why were they not treated as everyone else was and at least interviewed to eliminate? CAT was able to manipulate by putting herself forward as a witness before the authorities sought her out as a potential suspect and witness.

Not really relevant to the Madeleine McCann case.

This was a good video as a recap for getting your head around the critical timelines.
Kate & Gerry were the first to arrive at the Tapas bar at 8.35pm.
Much has been said about David Payne apparently he was still in his apartment at 8.55pm.

The whole thing is still shrouded in mystery.

If the Smith sighting is to be believed Gerry has covered up the death all this time. https://www.9news.com.au/world/smith-sighting-key-to-madeleine-mccann-mystery/84bea08d-65e6-4c24-923c-29018a0b9569

But at 10pm Gerry was at the tapas bar. He was allegedly seen by the Smiths at 10pm 300metres South of the Tapas bar.
With the theory of concealing Maddie's body on the beach a further 150 meters away & sussing out where to place the body, then the walk 450 meters back to the Tapas bar he wouldn't get back until 10.15pm at the earliest.
If as Tanner said Kate was annoyed with Gerry because she thought he'd been watching the football, what match could have been on TV that night?

edit: May 2nd Liverpool beat Chelsea in Champions League Semi final, it's possible Gerry could have been watching bits of that game. Although if he were he would have said so.

One theory was that Gerry concealed the body in the church. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/madeleine-mccanns-parents-hid-body-7277975

That would have required to much planning before hand. I believe Maddie met her fate that evening.
I suppose its possible the Smiths sighting could have been earlier at maybe 9.45pm.

Oh I see a month later when he returns to Portugal.

Gerry had the key to the church. It's a possibility. Of course, the McCanns may be entirely innocent. If guilty they've done an awful lot of work to cover their tracks.
