I don't see how becoming a mod on this forum was going to change anything that is happening on the red forum. I believe the way that he went about becoming a mod here - after causing quite a bit of trouble on this forum - was underhanded, and sneaky, snake like behaviour.

Not only did he become a mod underhandedly, he then spoke down to people - and in fact told me to 'walk the line' 'watch my step' and to 'control myself or else' which was all very embaressing and trying to blame me for posts on the red forum that I had nothing to do with.

Grahame was Roch's biggest critic - so when he became a moderator and began speaking down to Roch and causing problems between the mods as he embaressed himself and the fourm - it all just seemed very two face. Going through pain in your life doesn't give you the right or need to speak to people the way that he does and if he can't post respectfully then he shouldn't post at all.

It may not be the popular opinion but I am happy that he isn't here anymore, I don't think there is a place for him any longer after his own actions. But that's just MY opinion.
I'm just happy that Roch and NGB are back.

Mat, I can hear clearly that you feel very aggrieved about some of the things that Grahame said. I have a sense of there being a longstanding dispute between you which is never very far from the surface in either of you.

I would agree with you that becoming a Mad was probably not going to help his situation, but the important thing is that Grahame probably believed it would give him back some of the power he felt he had lost. It may have elevated his status in his own eyes and whilst you were in  the crossfire I don't believe it was entirely personal. For a few hours all hell was let loose and I think he was blaming everybody he could for allowing it to happen.

You are absolutely correct when you say that experiencing personal difficulties doesn't give us the right to take it out on other people, but Mat, which of us can honestly say we haven't done it under similar circumstances. Some of Grahame's posts to you have been less than courteous, but have yours to him been any less so?

I think it's very honest of you to say that you're happy he's no longer here, but he may return, which, IMO, means both of you may have to find a way to cope with any difficulties it may incur for you.

Hey, april.
No doubt he will return. In no way do I want him banned - and I have no doubt he will be back. However I do believe history is being re-written slightly as Grahame's posts that were causing problems were posted long before the red forum posted a picture of his Mother - that picture is being used at the catalyst when I don't think that is when the trouble started IMO. It may have been when Grahame decided he was going to get his 'power' back though but being a mod on here couldn't have done anything about the posts on the red forum when the people posting didn't have an account here. I think he's used that as an excuse.
Sad really.

But I didn't like when there were no mods and when ANYONE was able to post - the forum suffered.

Mat, Grahame isn't here to defend himself.

Neither was I, Maggie when I was banned from the forum but came back to find things being said about me.

Also, he may not be here to repsond - but he's still sent comments along through someone else. Which is what I was responding to.

Mat, for as long as you were posting on the red forum, Grahame was always going to find it difficult to get along with you, quite understandably in my opinion.  However, now that you have 'seen the light' I think that you and he may just stand a chance!  :)

I still don't think it should be seen as fair game to target someone because they post elsewhere. Very silly IMO to attempt to stop people posting where they want - I've never agreed that people should be told what to do.

But still, I am responding to comments he has sent to this forum since he left.
