Hi Grahame. Personally, I think the word, in that particular application, on par with a word starting with n and ending with r. I experience both words as offensive and degrading, but to paraphrase an old and oft used quote "I suppose I would, wouldn't I"?

The missing piece of toenail belonging to Sheila,,which was found downstairs,,,would have been damaged by the recoil of the rifle. Nobody has made the suggestion that she'd have been holding, and firing the rifle to have done that.  There would have been bleeding from that alone,,, if the nail was torn from the nailbed.

Would not that also have been proof on its own that she had the rifle,,and injured her own toe with it.?
Nobody else is going to shoot someone in the toe.

Wasn't there some television programme a year or two ago where investigators took some DNA samples from a bedroom carpet and lamp,with the full co-operation of Anne Eaton,the current owner of White House Farm?This would seem to be out of character were she trying to cover up the truth.

It was Jeremy who expressed a wish to have carpets and bedding burned quickly after the murders; okay he was traumatised and upset one might argue, but wouldn't June have wanted a burial,instead of the cremation she,her husband and Sheila received?

Would it be possible for her to achieve the angle of the first shot whilst in one of the Birdwell Armoury photo positions?

I would check first before going with the contortionist theory.

Sheilas funeral was not his decision. Quite probably Ann Eaton was not trying to cover up the truth? She probably believes quite honestly that Jeremy is guilty?
