Hi lookout I do agree I would not think Jeremy has the profile of a killer he seemed more intent on playing around and I think quite immature and did crave attention but not the kind he got.
Hi Susan,,after that massacre,,he'd have been miles away.
Hi ajdross I think personally he was an immature young man and if he did go to the Solicitors the day after the killings he would need to know what was the position about paying for the funerals etc and the farm workers and other staff would still want paying. He considered himself the man who had to take charge I don,t find it strange if indeed it is true. He was the only family member left to see to the affairs.
Had he killed them and then fled he would instantly have been the number one suspect and would have gained nothing. The day after the murders he was at the family solicitor (says Wikes) discussing finances. That I find a little strange!
Nothing strange about that,Ross. Just making sure he wasn't diddled. Though it ended up a bittersweet visit anyway. He was probably trying to find out who died first and last, because a lot depended on those sets of circumstances, financially. What was strange was the fact that nobody seemed to know who died in what order.! Mmm.?
