Cant exuse him mertol. He let her down. She was no doubt difficult but he was old enough to know what he was doing. He had babies with her and abandoned all of them for another woman. He knew she was ill but moved on and left his children....babies with her.
some men would have killed themselves some turned to booze fighting in pubs all day and some will go on perhaps he could have done more tried once more if i was colin i would have tried again to stop sheila falling into ill health but thats me .

Yes he did, and at the time of the murders they were living with him and only visiting with Sheila.

He should have known better xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

He should have known better and the twins would still be alive, what sort of responsible parent is that

But you cant blame Colin for something jeremy has done, and colin, to his credit, has forgiven bamber for killing his children.

But he didnt turn his back on them as you suggest, did he?

Ridiculous statement of course he did, he found someone knew and didn't want to live as a family anymore

He opened the door to the police saying she's done it then

Who in their right mind would leave children if they knew the mother was suicidal

You can not blame those kiddies father for the fact they ended up murdered.

We have to disagree on that sagar as i dont accept that jeremy killed anyone. I think Jeremy has forgiven colin for deserting him. It depends how you look at it.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx! When a Mother and Father break up - neither is leaving the kids even if one of the parents move out of the house.

And to ask what kind of father leaves a suicidal mother? One that doesn't want to be with that Mother any longer. Nothing to do with the children. Colin loved the children very much.

No one is blaming colin for the murders just saying that his behaviour was not good.

Mat there was nothng disgusting about jackies post she has a right to her opinion. I agree with her. Colins behaviour was not good. He pointed the finger at other people but he left her with twins 6 months after they were married. He was old enough to know what he was doing when he married her.

The above post Maggie seems to imply that it was colins fault that his kids were shot.

I agree, Colin was a good father trying to ensure that his ex wife maintained her relationship with their children.
