Jeremy alleges that there was around five hundred pounds in Neville's wallet and that RWB pocketed it. He said that when he brought up the subject with RWB,he looked embarrassed!

Maggie Hello :) If we look at this from another angle, Sheila had not been long out of hospital so Nevill could be forgiven for taking a breather and thinking that for the time being at least, she would be well enough to free him from "those" phonecalls. If I recall, "that" call came in August and isn't August the start of Harvest time? The busiest time in the farming calender, late nights, early mornings, grabbing every available second of daylight and he gets a call asking him to drive to London to sort his daughter out AGAIN. Maybe he'd had one of those days when everything had gone wrong and Sheila's problem was one ask too many.
It was early Summer(Blood Relations Chapter 24),so unlikely to have been August.

How would Bamber know how much was in there and what evidence have you that Bobby 'pocketed it'?

Why would the family put information into statements if there was anything underhanded and I respectfully suggest that Bamber was in full agreement of these early actions by the relatives to protect property.

To be fair to Tyler she does prefix her post with "Jeremy alleges". She is not claiming it  as true and of course there is no proof. It was Bambers words, not hers.

Thank you Lugg. The allegation comes from one of the books on the case. Unlike Vic's allegation that during the murders,Neville went to the kitchen to try to reach a panic alarm...that didn't even exist! He said the relatives believe that is what happened. So either vic lied or the relatives did!

To be fair to Vic he has admitted his mistake elsewhere on the forum and has apologised for the confusion caused. I think he truly believed it was fitted and that the the word of the relatives was good enough for him. It does however show Vic to be an honest chap in my humble opinion.

The apology was honourable, but did not explain who the story came from, yourself or the relatives. It is important to know the answer to this in order to not affect the credibility of any future postings that you make regarding the relatives.

The mistake was all mine Tyler. It was a relative that called me to say that it was wrong and I immediately put it right.

I think you could , but it's up to you , you love jumping on other people's mistakes ,

Why did it take somebody so long to correct you ?

What was you told first time , when you had it explained to you ?

That is a good point Tyler. Unfortunately Vic is at a disadvantage as he has only the relative's testimonies to go by as of course does Hartley.

And this time I jumped in on my own mistake. Or would you prefer if I carried on arguing for something which I knew not to be true. How can I accuse others of lying if I'm prepared to do the same?
