This is going to end really well David!
It's likely horseshit anyway, ngb. The whole thing is based on this quote by General Dan Caine, "
In the past 30 days, we’ve hit over 11,000 targets. With growing air superiority, we’ve also launched the first B-52 overland missions." Rather than excitedly bragging about supposed air superiority/supremacy as David is wont to do, first of all Gen. Caine's statement needs parsing to discover what he has actually stated. First of all, exactly where over Iran are US B52's supposedly flying? Are they flying over Tehran?. Or is it just inside part of Iran's border? Previously the US were flying missions just inside Iran's borders before launching expensive and limited stand off munitions. If the B52's are launching stand off munitions rather than abundant and cheap dumb gravity bombs then nothing has changed apart from the delivery means. F35's to B52's.
This in itself raises the further question as to why that would be. Do the US need to use long distance bombers because of the smouldering ruins of their ME airbases and refuelling planes? Are they dressing up the utter failure of the mission by spinning some story about B52's flying over Iran into a success story? Dimwits such as David makes the inference intended but not actually stated by Gen Caine.
The vagueness of the claim by Gen Caine leads me to suspect this.
