Well. it's hardly likely that Nevill and June keep schtum if they get the chance to reach a telephone.
I would have thought that it went without question that in a siege situation, ie, an, allegedly, mentally ill woman running amok with a loaded gun, police would have had ambulances on standby before they reached the scene.
If that were the case then why did it take them around 3 hours to summon ambulances. There were two. They did not know what they were dealing with and their actions in the begining suggest they thought they were dealing with a siege.
All part of the chaotic cock up caused by JB's input, maybe?
I consider this response bordering on stupid. Not content with calling him guilty you are now attributing his behaviour in the episode as responsible for the police's behaviour.
I believe it contributed to it, certainly. At the time, he was a distressed relative, their only reference point. How could they not have taken on board what he said? "Bordering on stupid" could also describe the suggestion that an injured June made a call! Perhaps she wandered downstairs because she discovered the bedroom phone was missing?
Why was there no phone in the bedroom?https://jeremybamberforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,12626.msg584872.html#msg584872It is clear you do not understand the issues surrounding the phones. Read the above and explain the situation that existed.
