Bamber would have took a keen interest in Shelias condition general outlook in the proceeding days if it had not been a spontaneous affair. After all this was his scapegoat and everything was riding on her to be the alternative suspect.

He would see her the days she was at the farm and just on the weekend prior he had drove her home in his car so would have got a good idea on how exactly she was.

If she was in such a bad state he would postpone any plans he had indefinitely.

I am not polarising her condition. But I am not writing her off as a vegetable like Adam is. I am rightly recognising her difficulties she endured.

She had difficulties and she also led somewhat a normal life.

Agree with you that the the truth probably lands in the middle. But I believe she could function normally to an extent.

For me a vegatable is someone bed bound.

This would have been the case in her 6 & 8 week hospital stays. And when on a higher dose of Haldoperiodal.

Leading up to the massacre she was not bed bound but could not function. Going by the sources.

Even then CC was apprehensive about letting the twins stay with Sheila for so long.

If she could function Bamber may be reluctant to attempt the massacre. As she would put up more resistance.

But who was left to contradict Jeremy's version of events? Only Ann Eaton possibly, whom Sheila had charred for in the past and who knew her cousin's limitations. As for the visit, the whole family had to be under one roof to be annihilated and thereupon make him sole beneficiary.
