It's highly unlikely with her coordination issues. She would still have had to replace the silencer in the downstairs cupboard, anyhow, so the whole scenario falls down to my mind.

I don't think he gauged the scale of people's reactions. He thought he had done enough to rope in Julie, but  he underestimated Ann Eaton, whom he thought would be content with managing the caravan park in her own right.
