But the word "generally" included does tend to suggest Mr. Justice Drake was in sympathy with Julie.

Much of his commenting leads me to believe so. "Generally means "usually" or "broadly". If something is generally true it is usually true"

There's confusion as to the telephones. I thought the portable phone shaped liked a brick and described as "Nevill's toy" had been collected by Mr. Pike and was therefore out of action during the murders.

It had been taken away. But interested to know about it's features to have an opinion of whether Bamber would have used it.

It's in Julie's statement that he was considering using it. But it was taken away at the last minute.

He is meant to be impartial.

Anthony Arlidge himself in on record saying that the judges summing up was very much geared towards conviction.

Julie admitted that Jeremy never mentioned actually shooting anyone.
And if you read her testimony carefully, everything she accuses Jeremy of saying could be the truth, but it could just as easily have been in referrence to the hurt caused to her by the break up of the relationship, nothing to do with the shooting at all.

Probably the only referrence made by Jeremy regarding the shooting was a tongue in cheek story about Matthew Macdonald, nothing more, then a month later he was appologising and trying to pacify Julie over the fact his feelings for her had waned. This is what Julie was talking about when she broke down in tears in front of Lizzie or Sue or whoever. 'You dont know how evil Jeremy is'' etc.,.

Read her statement again with this in mind.

It couldn't be at that time as Bamber was speaking to the police then.

Depends on what time the control clock call to West was. 3.26

3.30 could be 3.35, 3.36

Not 3.15

Well it cleared up one query of yours snow66!: namely, that there were cows at White House Farm. As for other more serious matters, the fact that Julie didn't embellish whilst giving evidence goes in her favour.

Bamber couldn't have called the police at 3.36am. It would then mean he only had 3 minutes to get to WHF. Driving slowly.

In my view he rang Julie at 3.00am. Two flatmates said this.

She can't be expected to pinpoint the timing of a telephone call in the middle of the night. She asked to confer with housemates, a request she had every right to make.

Susan Battersby confirmed the the exact time as 3.15. she said she looked at a clock.

Julie's first statement says 3.30. and under cross examination by Rivlin she says the same thing.

3.35 it could have been! Tying with Bambers 3.26am call to West.

Susan and Julie would have spoken in the interim of the trial and of course before. Why two different times?

Susan was set on 3.15

Do you believe a general discussion, girly chat, pre trial walkthrough, dotting the t's and I's didn't happen prior to the trial?

Do you not think that between Bamber being charged and the trial happening Susan and Julie conversing whether alone or with EP about what to say and not what to say ?

Simply pre trial strategy

Julie can remember every mundane of her life with Jeremy prior the massacre.

But between her and flatmate can not agree a time on when Jeremy phoned her!
