But all of this -the games and parties- would have taken place within the safe parameters of the camp. Goldhanger, where JB lived, is around 4 miles beyond it.
So where did he allegedly start the sea wall journey Jane?

Steve, he'd have started from Goldhanger. There would have been no point in going several miles out of his way in the opposite direction.

De ath had knowledge of Bambers route. The entire wall

De ath was slated for this because she lives in Basildon. Which means nothing. I live in Sheffield and know most of south London intimately.

Adam in particular has described de ath as " one of Bambers batty old dears "

I don't believe she did have knowledge of "The entire wall". I get that she may have ventured as far as Mill Beach and Heybridge. Whilst it's not exactly 'clubland' it's interesting enough. Unless she was fond of hiking, there was nothing in the opposite direction.

Whilst I won't call her  "one of Bamber's batty old dears", I do think there's an element of revenge and retribution behind what she says.

I believe she did.

I don't believe a caravan deal gone sour with AE should mean anything.

The general jist of BD complaints are that things were better with Osea when Jeremy and his parents were around. Than under the relatives. It's just an observation.

Going back to her time there, it was a very different place to the one which exists now. I very much doubt that Nevill would have allowed old vans, past their sell by date, to grace the front row, and as sure as God made little green apples, JB, with his love of money, certainly wouldn't have, but BD never got to know that because, at the time, JB was only helping hand.

Nevill was a people person by all accounts I've seen of him. A businessman all the same. In all arenas of the case I've yet to find someone say a bad thing about Nevill. Everyone seemed to like him.

Seems to have been a good man with a warm heart.

Absolutely. I've not met anyone who knew him -and the few left are all in their late 90's now!- to have anything but good to say of him.

Yes probably more stricter with Jeremy than Shelia. But that's they way fellas are naturally I think. I myself let my daughter get away with anything compared to my son!

Also he probably had high hopes forJeremy from birth. Probably wanted him moulded in the same way as himself.

Anyway.

The good thing foe Bamber about parking on pages lane is he can park at the top. At 2am whatever and not be seen by anybody. He can do a three point turn and position the car back  facing the road.

He then gets out of the car. And can saunter down pages lane to to the farm. Do his thing. Get out saunter back up to the car and then float back to goldhanger. Park on the driveway then set the plan in action.

The adrenalin would be pumping. All this cycling palava is not needed.

Makes you wonder why Brett say's Jeremy couldn't get on with him Jane and they wasn't close with no Love between them?   He wasn''t living at WHF at the time so you could hardly put it down to being in each others face all the time...............

HB, I wonder if it might have been a case of the behaviours displayed publicly being very different to the behaviours displayed privately? It seems, because Nevill didn't talk about it, that very few people knew about his relationship with JB. It was only those who saw it in action who had some inkling. Only ONE person has ever claimed that Nevill had told him that JB had started to "shape up well". Perhaps such had come as a complete surprise?

Yes, it seems as though it's Jeremy who does all the talking about his hatred of his Parents.  Even though i don't believe JM's role she seems to match what Brett says about his relationship with his parents and his hatred for his mother.

I imagine the hatred was so ingrained that it wouldn't have been too long before his feelings were sussed, ie, Couldn't leave because he had too much to loose. Parents controlling his life. Sister getting freebies, etc, etc. I imagine that everyone who knew him would have been aware.

I wonder if he'd have been jealous of the sort of lifestyle/jobs being enjoyed by his peer group, ie, jobs which he may have seen as being more interesting/having status/being financially rewarding in the present?
