Possibly with some, such is possible, but don't you think having prior knowledge of how someone died might colour our views. I don't think there's any hardfast right or wrong about this. Scientifically, we know that muscles relax in death which could eliminate their experiences prior to it...............but no one has ever come back to tell us.

Well in my case I never knew the cause of death, but could tell the last few seconds were painful so guessed it was a heart attack.

Obviously none of this would stand up in a court of law, I would expect that a nurse would over a career  see many many more cases of sudden death than most other people, so their view should be respected.

Why would the view of a nurse be respected over that of a pathologist's?

According to Mrs Eaton, via Ms Mugford "they all looked peaceful".

I imagine that conversation between Ann and Julie, in the back of the police car, was rather stilted. It wasn't the appropriate place for sharing private thoughts, or ask difficult questions.

I did not say that the view of a nurse should be respected over that of a pathologist's, I just said the view of a nurse should be respected.
