A question for QC. Do you think that Michael Mansfield would have done a better job for Jeremy ? He of the Human Rights and actions against the police ?

Long story but we have a child in the family whose residing in a therapy unit in Darlington and she goes regularly, by train with some of the child's siblings to visit her. They went to the cathedral last week but there was a service on the go, so they got fish and chips and went to a park to eat them. Daughter found some short cuts because the area is hilly. Durham station is where they get the train back to Lime st. ( 3hrs )

Yes, Durham is very hilly but an amazing city. You can still go in the Cathedral even if there is a service on. They have been doing a lot of restoration, including the tower - love going up there but not sure if it's open again yet. It's been a while since went inside the Cathedral, great walk by the river though. Have you never visited Durham?

Darlington is a good hospital - but a long way for her to go. Is the little girl there on a permanent basis? Darlington is a lovely station - very Victorian and Harry Potterish.

No she's not in a hospital Caroline. It's more a psychotherapy centre, private, but obviously funded by the local council here as the arrangement was fast-tracked after her dad died. There's a school attached and there's never more than half a dozen children in the place. She's on the autistic spectrum so is receiving specialist treatment. The place is in a rural part of Darlington and staff are amazing as two of them drove down here for her birthday last month.

Oh I see - sorry. I think I know the place you mean. It's a lovely area - not far from me. My friends little boy is autistic, he wouldn't speak at all until around four years old and had therapy - now you would never know he has autism and he never shuts up. The treatment for autism has moved on leaps and bounds. Have you ever heard of Temple Grandin? An amazing lady!

She's okay RJ x---in her own little world, though this being the problem. Though they do seem to have a good team of experts who deal with things like this where she is, hence the distance from where we are.

Not up to now, but my own thoughts are a " middle child syndrome " effect.

I haven't heard of that lady Caroline, but I'll look at the video. The girl in question was 12 last month, isn't stupid but hasn't got the ability to explain herself. She's also a loving child and does display eye to eye contact. It's her destructive meltdowns that are troubling though she's on medication but she's fine with my daughter ( child's nanny ) more so than her own mother.
I feel sure she'll be okay and will be resident until at least November so a lot of to-ing and fro-ing to be done.
Daughter and children stay at various Travel-lodges at weekends.

Caroline you'll have to try and meet my daughter sometime when she's there again, chances are she might only have one sibling with her at a time instead of the 3 because they squabble, the resident one is as good as gold ! When it's a weekend, she has more time. I'm sure you'd like her, down to earth

Thats good to hear Lookout, same as Caroline said they’ve come on in leaps and bounds, sorry I’m in and out at moment just planning my next venture.
