Not according to two TFG officers, one of whom has it placed 12-18 inches from her waist.

thats understandable lookout ,i only say that cause in my opinion the track of the semi open door does not touch the bible and to me the bible looks like its covering part of sheilas arm hence laying on top. i cant understand how that could be

As far as I am aware, no.  It seems more like he / they couldn't match-up the photos they were later shown, with the scene as they left it.  They raised these concerns internally on several occasions but were reassured by their superiors that nobody had moved anything.  There is no evidence I have seen of them taking it any further.

In his opening speech to the jury , Arlidge for the prosecution said” Bamber left his mothers blue-covered bible beside his sisters body”?  He doesn’t say leaning against it and makes no reference to blood?  According to  Wilkes book.

In his summing up to the jury, he mentions again the fact “the bible was by her side and was to fake suicide”. Again he doesn’t mention touching or blood?   This points to me Arlidge has been very careful about the bible, he’s not suggested it was touching resting or blood on it, probably (NGB might advise on this) so as not to miss lead the jury?  Although pictures might say otherwise?  Does anyone have any other info what was said at trial about the bible?

Quite some years ago it was said that Sheila had expected a phone call from Christine on the night of the murders. Because Sheila had been paranoid about people listening in to her calls, there's every possibility that Sheila had unplugged/ hidden the phones to avoid this happening.
Whether or not Sheila ever received the said call we'll never know.

I believe that was one of Mike's suggestions. Whether or not it was true, we'll never know.

Yes, from a second hand book shop. The pages are fine, like they are in most bibles,

It was said here - no where else. Her relationship with her mother was on the QT at the time. If a call was expected, don't you think Christine would have said so? It's just silly gossip.

Well, we would, because Christine would have said so. Just one of them 'add-ons'.
