Injuries Jeremy and Sheila
« on: April 16, 2018, 09:06:AM »
Sorry if this has been answered. Am new and have done a search but cant find it. A lot has been made of the lack of injuries to Sheila that would have been thought to have been sustained if she had tackled her much larger father. Are there any reports that any such injuries were seen on Jeremy after the murders? Surely what works for Sheila's innocence may also work for his and suggest involvement of a third party?

There have been a lot of suggestions of third party involvement -

Crispy fired the second shot into Sheila. Suggested by Bamber.

Nevill may have said 'She' rather than 'Sheila' on the phone. Suggested by Bamber.

A hit man team carried out the massacre. Suggested by Mike.

One of the relatives carried out the massacre. Suggested by Sherlock.

Sheila and Bamber committed the massacre together.

The massacre was committed by a hunched figure seen in the area.

Sheila shot herself once downstairs and was then shot again upstairs by the police. Suggested by Mike.

Someone had a grudge against Nevill, who was a part time magistrate.

Bamber couldn't have committed the massacre alone. So had an accomplice. Who this could have been has never been suggested.

A man called Jeff Blake committed the massacre. Suggested by Mike.

Thanks. My question was are there any reports of anyone seeing injuries to Jeremy in the days after the murder, to suggest that he did tackle Nevill?

Regarding injuries there is no comparison.

Bamber was strong, motivated, wearing shoes, padded up, focused, as strong as Nevill & had shot Nevill 4 times.

Sheila was bare footed, in a nightie, 9 inches shorter than Nevill, 7 stone lighter than Nevill, weak, un cordinated, under sedation and not determined.

Nevill also had the opportunity to negate Sheila while he was fully fit, but chose to ring Bamber instead.

It was suggested last week by Lebaleb that Sheila committed the massacre naked, apart from wearing a pair of Nevill's blue socks. This would have made her body even more vulnerable to injuries.

Hi frankie

SHEILA sustained a ''Semicircle' 'finger nail' like laceration to her hand, also other lacerations to same hand.

I dont know about JEREMY with this regard.

Thanks. Does anyone know Sheila's actual height? If she was a model would she not be more than five five?

Hi Frankie as far as we are aware there are no reports of injuries to JB.  There are comments by relatives short time after the murders that he had a few scars on his hands but nothing concrete and as he was a farmer that is not surprising.  Julie Mugford slept with Jeremy after the murders and although later accusing him of the murders she has never claimed to have seen any injuries on his body.

She was almost 5' 8".  She was also a very slight build and was very light for someone of that height.

Nevill had the option to negate Sheila while fully fit. And had the option of getting assistance from another adult, June.

This would have almost certainly resulted in no one getting injured and no shots being fired. At the worst one shot would be fired which would either miss Nevill or give him a non fatal injury. It was a rifle for shooting vermin. Not a shot gun.

However June continued sleeping & Nevill chose to ring Bamber instead.

Regarding the fight after Nevill had failed to take earlier action & had now been shot 4 times.

Nevill would have a much more attacking mentality if it was Sheila. Knowing he could literally jump on her & take her to ground. Or punch her and knock her out. Both options giving him control of the rifle.

With Bamber he had no choice but to be a lot more defensive. He was also caught by surprise more, there had been no build up to the attack.

The smashed & dislodged watch and wounds on Nevill's forearms as he protected his head from rifle head blows, shows he did not have the opportunity to use his height/weight to jump on or punch the killer.

Nevill had several options to use his massive height, weight & strenght advantages to take Sheila to ground. Either by simply falling on her or punching her -

Prior to any shots being fired.

After being shot from close range in the main bedroom.

During the kitchen fight.

----------

Thr undisputed evidence is Nevill did not make any attacking moves on Sheila. The only pro active thing he did was phone Bamber.

It is unclear whether Nevill phoned Bamber before or after shooting began.

This is because Nevill's call to Bamber only lasted 2-4 seconds. Nevill only saying 8-11 words then putting the phone down before Bamber could speak.

David has suggested Nevill phoned after Sheila started shooting the twins.

Am I not allowed to post opinions ?

You can disagree and say a fully fit Nevill would lose in a struggle with an uncordinated woman, 7 stone lighter, & 9 inches shorter than him.
