I've just gone over Suthurst's report. Here's a summary
He found a red object 2mm by 4mm on the carpet.
It was about 4cm away from the area under the aga.
The "dominant hue" of the red object was brighter than the aga paint.
The "dominant hue" of the red object was 95% the same as the photos of Sheila's toe nails.
The size and shape of the red object "closely matched" an area of damaged nail varnish on Sheila's right foot.
He done an experiment recreating the damage done to the mantleshelf.
The experiment generated 70 small flakes of paint landing on the carpet that were large enough for the camera used in this case to pick up on. They were up to 2mm larger than the red object found.
Can you post the link to the report. It is not in the 'statements & transcripts library'.
So directly under the aga there is red debris. I wish the CT would make up their mind.
However in Sutherst's opinion it is not debris from the aga, it is from Sheila's toe nail polish. Which came off Sheila's toe nail directly under the aga scratches. A one in a million co incidence.
No one has said how this toe nail varnish came off Sheila's toe.
I disagree that the scratches would cause debris. They are so faint nothing would fall onto the floor. I suspect the CT wanted to create a nail polish theory & paid Sutherst his fee.
