Either, he did, or Ron Cook did!!
Well, let's look into the significance of this event so that no-one can be left in any doubt that cops staged Sheila's death scene on the main bedroom floor with the rifle from the box room window initially, then from the main bedroom window as per photograph no.23...
So let's put things into perspective - photograph 23 was taken before any photograph showing the same rifle in Sheila Caffell' possession! The following photographs were taken showing the rifle on Sheila's body in the following sequentially taken photographs, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 and 33 (in each of these pictures the rifle has been photographed in Sheila's possession), so we appear to be at an impasse! How many times was the rifle removed from Sheila's body before PS Woodcock removed 'it' at 11.10am?You see, if the raid team found Sheila's body on the main bedroom floor with the rifle in her possession as claimed by them, then how did the rifle get photographed at the main bedroom window in photograph no.23, before the same rifle was photographed 9 consecutive times as per photo's 25 - 33?
The rifle was photographed resting at the main bedroom window (23) before the second team of SOCO's were handed the scene after 10.00am, and so PC Bird could not have even been present inside the farmhouse let alone inside the main bedroom at the time photograph no.23 was taken! Similarly, Ron Cook could not have removed the rifle from Sheila's body and placed 'it' at the main bedroom window before photograph no.23 was taken, because he too was not handed control of the scene until 10.00am, or shortly afterwards...
DC Oakley took photograph no.23, and 25...
And, there's something else in PS Woodcock's December 1985 witness statement that I think is wrong!
