Eh? I'm saying that it's unlikely she had a shower after the killings. Furthermore, she might have had one in the morning, not before she went to bed.

You are trolling this forum, and I don't think anything you say can be taken seriously any more.

There's someone, on this forum, other than Steph, who's deserving of that insult. Put your accusation to them.

It would have remained in situ. Women don't have any problems performing sports,so why should hurtling around like a dervish be any different ?
Not that this has to do with anything.

Of course it would. The suggestion that it wouldn't have stayed in place is laughable.  :))

Of course it would have remained in place - it was designed to do so. Do you think women in the '80s never moved in case their tampon fell out?

Many women back in the 80's didn't. No. Some didn't swim and some women had to take to there beds with a hot water bottle.

Where's your proof for this?

What kind of tampon was it?

What time did she change her tampon?

They didn't have pearl tampons back in the 80's!!

Had the tampon leaked? The pathologist didn't state this in his evidence!

It was a Tampax.

Don't think we know that. I wouldn't want to guess.

I never found Tampax as secure as Lillets. They had a tendency to 'slip' if not changed in time.

It seems not to have leaked. The pathologist said she was in the early stages of menstruation.

In the toxicology report there was no suggestion that Sheila had taken painkillers, which suggests that she didn't suffer period pains. In the 80s women didn't go to bed just because they had a period.

No - your posts are becoming increasingly ludicrous.  :))

I can assure you, from embarrassing memory, that it wouldn't (necessarily) have stayed in place and such an occurrence is anything but laughable.

It wouldn't necessarily have fallen out either! To assume such a thing is laughable.

Exactly Jane! And they didn't make tampax pearl back in the 80's, which are more like Lillets.

But the pathologist wasn't specific about this. What does early stages mean? Every women is different. Some women mentruate for 3 or 4 days, some women a week or longer.  Was she on the pill?

Exactly. I doubt that being in the early stages of a period would render her completely incapable of doing anything. She was probably taken by surprise - hence the underwear in the bucket. That's quite strange though - leaving it in a bucket.

But did they test for painkillers? From my experience these tests aren't accurate

She was fitted with an IUD which reputedly can cause period pain. It's a pain which can be like no other -I'd sooner have experienced migraine- and there have certainly been times when the only relief has come via a hot water bottle.

Yes they did and still do Kaldin. Shows what you know.

If she didn't suffer period pains then she wouldn't have been grouchy; yet more reason to believe she was asleep when Bamber launched his attack!

IUD. It's in my previous post.
