We'll just have to disagree then.

I thought that's what we were doing?

It's not a comparable angle.

The rifle was definitely moved. It's several inches lower in one photo than in another. It's not an illusion.

One officer didn't even notice a rifle on Sheila's body. What was that about ?

Was it the same officer who didn't see the silencer in the cupboard ? Or couldn't tell the difference between a male and female when looking through the window ?

It's not a conclusion I have arrived at. The gun is clearly in different positions.

It is.  It is quite clear.  This has been analysed in the past and was covered in one of the documentaries (not the MWT one, the one before).  There was definitely interference with the crime scene by police.

in one photo the gun is clearly resting above her necklace, and in the other it's not.

I agree.  Also look at the angle of the arm.

DI Cook moved her hand because he wanted to see under her wrist. https://www.theguardian.com/uk/2011/jan/30/jeremy-bamber-appeal-murders-evidence

In your opinion.

Clearly not my opinion but patently obvious.  The image where the barrel doesn't reach so far, is almost from a 'top down' perspective.  As such, it doesn't lend itself to the actual position of the barrel being misinterpreted.

Whereas the second image, is not from the perspective of looking down the length of the barrel (which could arguably have given rise to an optical illusion) - but from alongside instead.

Clearly they were moving gun and bible around, trying to rectify whatever blunder had took place, by re-staging the scene.  Perhaps they experienced difficulties in doing this and the rifle wouldn't lay as they wished.

No wonder members of TFG raised 'real concerns' about the positioning they were later shown at briefings.  It was not the same scene that they had vacated - it was a scene that SOCO created.

Doesn't matter - it shows how the illusion works. What angle would you like me to use?

I think it's down to individual perception and the example above shows that. I don't share the view that it was moved - perspective can alter when the camera is moved.

It clearly is your opinion unless you would like to post direct proof that it was moved?

There goes that 'blunder again' - what blunder? Ah that's right - you don't know.

The one which Roch referred to - alongside.
