Much has been made about a couple of picture that the media published where JB was smiling and JB has since that was a smile for his friends like "I am okay" I have posted a few different photos that portray JB in a different light.
A number of people testified at Jeremys trial and I have listed some below
Paul Osborne who ran a Colchester Snooker Club said in a written statement that he knew Jeremy as a pleasant, polite and straightforward person he added that he seemed to work hard and enjoyed a good relationship with his family.
Charles Lapridge who sold the Bambers some machinery for the farm described Jeremy as easy to deal with and Jeremy got on well with his father. He'd never caught a whiff of any trouble between Jeremy and his family when he visited the farm.
The housekeeper at White House Farm Jean Boutell had worked for the Bambers for twenty years and had never heard Jeremy say anything bad about his family.
A Colchester Chartered surveyor Richard Buck said Jeremy was a straightforward type of person. Out of his family I found it most easy to deal with him
The landlord of the Chequers Goldhanger described Jeremy as a model customer.
I think while discussing this case we should look at everyones view on Jeremys character
You are right, Jackie. I was very young when this case hit the headlines and would not normally have been interested in a case like this - had too may other things on my mind then! Yet I clearly recall this case and what I remember most is how it suddenly changed and how confusing that was. It seemed that one day the press and media focus was that Sheila did it, the next day, all change, Jeremy did it. It didn't seem to make any sense.
I did not believe that Jeremy had done it and I remember thinking that there was something odd going on.
I also recall the press suddenly demonising Jeremy.
