Could be he has selective memory, it's a condition, being able to remember some facts but not all especially when it's inconvenient, like when he could not remember what he said to Sheila in the field, or he could not remember what he said to Julie in the three phone calls he made to her, but because she remembers what Bamber said word for word people rubbish her for it.

Is it plausible he could of seen, or knew Neville was or was going to, be involved in a transaction for that amount of money?

yes it is, just like he knew there was money in the safe before he decided to rob the caravan park to test security and poor Anne had to deal with the aftermath while Jeremy spent the money.  He probably forgot he had robbed it.

Yes it is.

What is rather implausible is Jeremy counting the money after shooting everyone then putting the wallet away and not taking the money with him.

But don't forget it's never been proven he knew the contents of the wallet on the night in question. It's simply a claim made by Ann Eaton (who took the wallet). Since RWB and AE had the wallet in their possession. They could easily make up that Jeremy knew the contents after counting the contents themselves.

I bet Jeremy never knew how much was in the safe though------far more than in the wallet as it contained wages for the workers. Only RWB knew, after he'd found the keys within the bowl of a lampshade.

He knew what was in the caravan safe. As he stole the contents and spent it.

I'm talking about the safe in the farmhouse.

Yes very strange they are the ones that bought up how much money was in it and never told him they'd handed it over, instead let him report it stolen

Why did it take him two years to answer a simple question?

Because it was the least of his worries. He had bigger fish to fry, like slotting together myriads of files/documents of a more important nature----------such as why everyone was out to fleece him.

Bamber was hoping to illegally take the wallet himself. To help finance his jolly ups. Luckily AE had handed it to BC.

What utter claptrap. Both AE and RWB first found the wallet and never coughed.

They handed it to Basil Cock.

Adam if it was that innocent why didn't she tell Jeremy they'd found it instead of listening to him make an "annoyed" phone call to the police about it????
Why didn't she want him to know they had it?

I'm afraid this doesn't make Bamber innocent & doesn't undermine AE.

It undermines Bamber more as he was obviously looking to illegally take the wallet to finance his jolly ups. AE gave the wallet to BC.
