It does seem strange and as a novice to guns I wondered to what extent gloves masked or washing removed the residue, thinking of the incident with PC Mercer and his dog not detecting anything on Bamber.

His left side was against the wall ? Wasn't it most of his left side which had received the shots and damage ?.
With June,it was mainly her right side where most of the shots were.

Nobody has evidence that Sheila changed,except for her soaked underwear,which I would have assumed that she'd have washed/showered and changed while she was at it.
Not sure that had things been " normal " would there have been blood-soaked underwear left in a bucket for twins to ask questions about though ?

Yes, his left arm shoulder and jaw but he was also shot/bludgeoned on the right side of his head.
