I think this just goes to show that people will defend their position even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. I can't understand how people who weren't involved, don't have access to information that you have, can still argue the toss with you in respect to SH's confession. He did seem to be in a position where, he was looking at freedom - I very much doubt he'd have chosen that time to confess UNLESS he had areal reason for doing so. Kudos to you for being able to admit you were wrong and sharing the many things you have learned since!
He'd just been awarded D-cat status prior to us learning of the Zenith burglary in November 2012 but was still in closed prison conditions at this point. Kingston prison were closing down, so rather than move him to another closed prison, they moved him to open conditions earlier than expected. He'd lied in his Guittard application about having support from family members and this along with numerous other things caught up with him. He blogged about his journey from Portsmouth to Hollesley Bay. And I think his experiences during the move brought the murder back home to him. He was driven past the village of Capel, as well as being placed in the cell next to the one he was in when on remand (when they stopped off in Chelmsford).
Initially as you know I posted as Truthseeker because I was tired of the constant abuse and attacks I was being subjected to, as well as the malicious allegations being made about me at the time. Plus I had fears me posting here would get back to SH (Which of course it did) but I couldn't sit back and watch the farce continue any longer, especially as his brother was manufacturing yet more rubbish.
I'm grateful to many of you here for the support and indeed understanding showed, as it made the experience a little easier, then and now.
