Thats another incident, not this one.

KILLER BAMBER'S BROKEN BOTTLE JAIL ATTACK.

Link/Page Citation
Mass killer Jeremy Bamber launched a vicious attack on a fellow prisoner with a broken bottle.

He rammed the jagged edges of a sauce bottle into his victim's face and tried to cut off his nose and ears. The inmate's scalp was also cut open.

The Home Office last night pledged an inquiry in the attack by Bamber, jailed for life after slaughtering his family for a pounds 500,000 inheritance.

The victim is believed to be serving a sentence for burglary. He was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery after the attack.

It is not the first time that Bamber, an inmate at Long Lartin top security prison in Worcestershire, has been in trouble in jail. He has been one of the most hated prisoners in Britain since the 1985 killing of his adoptive parents, his sister Sheila and her twin sons.

Last year he was robbed of pounds 1,000-worth of jewellery, cash and personal belongings.

Earlier this year he was briefly removed from Long Lartin for his own safety after surviving a knife attack. He was transferred to Full Sutton jail near York, where he took up martial arts and keep-fit for his own defence.

It is understood the man he attacked with a bottle had tried to pick a fight with him.

A Home Office spokesman said there would be a major investigation.

"There was an incident in the prison which left one prisoner seriously injured," he said.

You forgot to include that JB was moved to Full Sutton for his own safety.Doesn't sound like he'd been the mad vicious one !

How come a prisoner is allowed to have £1000 worth of jewellery and personal possessions?

He has been involved in some trouble too. He once attacked a prisoner with a broken bottle, and had to be placed in solitary confinement when inmates were angered by his stories to journalists about the comfortable lifestyle he said prisoners have.

It would have been in the safe. It wouldn't have been there at all if it hadn't been allowed.

KILLER BAMBER'S BROKEN BOTTLE JAIL ATTACK.

And even though Jackie knew about it she blatantly states he has never been violent  ::)

I think Mike is the best person to comment on this from what I know there are two attacks one involving JB attacking someone (and I don't know about him being a burglar because I think he is still in prison and goes about bragging his scar was done by JB) and Jeremy was attacked himself.  I don't know the circumstances of the attacks but it seems to be a very dangerous place cat a as a prisoner in JB s prison someone was murdered a few months ago. I think one attack by JB in 26 years Probably shows it was over something serious but I would like Mikes opinion

Well at least we all now know where the public funds are going  ::)

According to Lookout, this would have been kept in the safe.  ;D ;D Not sure what safe she is referring to but clearly it wasn't on this occasion.

Why is there no internet link to this?

He had 26 stitches in his neck,Steve. The other guy wasn't injured to that extent, though what damage JB could muster when bleeding profusely,I don't know.

Yep and Jeremy Bamber practically scalped another inmate. What's your point?

Why is there no internet link to this?

Because it never happened.

I have just read through the 1998 judgment on Jeremy trying to get his category downgraded. No mention of such incident.

As usual guiltards making something out of nothing.  ::)
