Maybe they did consider it. For a few seconds. Then dismissed it. Just as I have done.

It's easier to get in through the bathroom window. And quieter and less dangerous.

The upstairs window looked very small.

The rifle was downstairs anyway.

What room was the upstairs window open at ? If it was an occupied room, I suspect he would have woken people, who would have screamed, suspecting it was burglar.

well normall if you see theres an open window its natraul to asume the intruder got in through it not to come up with a complicated of how he got in through a closed window.

the open window would of been the most pausable explantation.

How do you know the bathroom window was closed ? Bamber may have opened it when he went for supper. If not it was easy to open as Bamber said during his police interviews.

well its a fair guess that the upstairs window was allways left open so if your planing a murder wouldent it be better to plan it around a window that was going to be open than trying to get in through a diffrent one.

Similar to Sheila sleeping with June, Bamber not committing the massacre because the windows may have wet paint on, and Bamber hiding inside WHF rather than going home, I confidently predict that Nugs's suggestion has not been suggested 'off' this forum.

It was called clutching at straws. The whole case was based on assumptions.

but theres a viable and plausble way he could of entered the house and comited the murders and they have chosen to ignore it in favour of an implausable way.

You do come up with some preposturous theories Nugs,  to attempt to show Bamber is innocent. Although never have a theory  when discussions on how Sheila committed the massacre are taking place.

The only plausible way for Bamber to enter WHF was via the downstairs bathroom window. Which he told the police and courts he knew how to get through easily.

You didn't address my points in reply 2.

No one else has ever suggested Bamber should have gone through the upstairs window. And no one else ever will.

CAL says the upstairs open window was from Neville/June's bedroom. She also says it was only slightly open at the top. Source available upon request.

Therefore the suggestion that Bamber had the option of entering this upstairs window has been dismissed.

I do wish people would research prior to creating threads. It is not the first time posters have been invited to discuss a wrong alleged fact.  I suppose if you keep throwing mud at something, some of it may stick.

The police themselves should have tried these methods instead of bashing the front door down making as much row as they possibly could. Why didn't they ?
