Are you saying that, because of the gun, Nevill took time out to differentiate between whether it was a m ale or female who was wielding it? Surely his reasoning would have been that a bullet from either would be equally as painful/devastating/deadly.

Had it been a man who'd have approached/confronted Neville,regardless of it being his own son,then he'd have used what strength he'd had left in fighting back and if it had been Jeremy,then he'd have had the marks to show for it--------------in which case JB didn't have a mark on him,leaving the confrontation to it having been a woman.
Did we ever hear how Neville's opponent was after the scuffle outside the pub when Neville received a black eye,or was it that Neville wasn't a fighting man at all ?
