Watched it for a second time, now it's on Youtube. Some interesting points.
Miller said Bamber 'controlled' the scene at WHF.
Miller said Bamber 'hated' his parents and 'resented his sister.
Bamber saw the wills four months before the massacre. And was not happy.
Bamber was sent to boarding school at 8. He blamed Neville & June for this. This matches MM's testimony.
Neville was in good physical health. This supports the crime scene.
Miller & BW said Julie was an 'ordinary', 'nice' & 'honest' person. Which matches my threads. What a pity she ended up with Bamber.
Miller said Julie was 'deeply in love' & 'controlled' by Bamber.
Bamber eventually went to work on WHF. Having to work long hours for 'pocket money'. This explains why he worked extra hours at the caravan site, which the programme says. He wanted to live it up in London but did not have the resources.
He confessed to the caravan site break in the following day. And justified it to himself as he felt June & Neville were both weak and 'needed to be taught a lesson'. Although has since said he did it out of greed. He was now worried he would be disinherited. This again matches MM's testimony. However I don't know why he didn't pay it all back if he confessed the following day. Bamber said he spent all the money.
BW said June wanted to prosecute Bamber for the caravan break in. This matches several people who have commented on June & Bamber's non relationship.
BW said there was a lot more bickering at WHF from 1984. Neville was concerned about being shot in a shooting accident.
Bamber threatened to implicate Julie if she told the police about his plans. This may have put Julie off, however no crime had been committed. Julie was also 'deeply in love' with Bamber.
BW said Bamber would often do the opposite to what Neville wanted on the farm. And would do warped, callous and evil things. Such as putting rats in BW's car.
BW said there was talk about Sheila moving to WHF. Although Bamber's WS says the discussion was about Sheila moving to his cottage. Either way BW said Bamber would be worried about the twins taking over WHF. This again matches MM's testimony.
Bamber 'called Julie' at 9.50pm on the murder night. Perhaps he wanted to tell her what 'he had been thinking about all day'.
The defence argument in court says Julie testified because 'he jilted her'. A recent thread shows this would not be the case.
Bews said Bamber drove slowly to WHF. Bamber was keen to immediately offer information to Bews and suggested straight away that Sheila may have killed everyone. Which surprised Bews as usually the police have to spend time extracting this sort of theory. As Bews said 'things went up a notch'.
Bews decided not to go charging into WHF Don't blame him (TAC).
Miller said Bamber was plausible and agreed with Bamber that he was a 'good actor'. However there were suspicious police from day one.
BW said she had 'no doubts' and never saw any grief from Bamber. However he did smile after getting in the car after the funeral. This matches what RB said. Miller also saying Bamber pointed at his Hugo Boss at the funeral reception.
Miller confirmed Bamber would cycle to WHF. And use Sheila as a scapegoat. The bible being put next to Sheila for 'the polices benefit'.
Miller believes Sheila was lead into the bedroom. She wouldn't have known much of what was happening.
BW said Sheila had no strengt, was 'listless', 'tired' and found difficulty even sitting up. BW said she could restrain Sheila herself with one arm. This corresponds with AE and CAL.
The programme said Neville went downstairs when he heard noises. This is wrong.
It was suggested Bamber dyed his hair the day before the massacre as he was getting ready for a new image. Sounds plausible. Or a 'curious coincidence'.
The programme accepted what Julie said Bamber said to her at Bamber's 3am phone call. Partly because there has never been an alternative offer.
