Some notes I made from DEVIANT
Let me just say that firstly I wasn't much looking forward to this book as I had a strange experience with MasonDoyle when he took offence to something I posted and threatened to sue me.
But I have to say, the book did do a good job of crunching down all of the evidence in a straight forward and honest way, I feel he looked at things from both sides and ended up coming to the conclusion as GUILTY because that is where the evidence led him.
I am not saying that I learned too much new from the book - but I did read some interesting things.
The anonymous letter - I believe Jeremy LIKELY did say the crime was him and Sheila. I think this because the person who wrote that letter clearly HAD spent time with Bamber.
The letter claims that Bamber calls Certain groups of supporters... "Jeremy's depserate and lonely housewives club
That fits in with what I have been told in the past, he has nicknames for supporters and they aren't positive ones... he calls one supporter HEAVY - and I've known that for years.
I still don't think they committed the crimes together. But I do believe it is likely Bamber claimed they did.

I also found the Brett Collins sections interesting.
Brett now believes Bamber to be GUILTY.
Behind closed doors Brett claims Bamber was Laughing and saying how foolish the police and people were
He seems to say that he didn't come forward with his information at the time because he didn't feel he would be taken seriously as the officers seemed to have a problem with his sexuality.
Brett confirms the story of trying to sell photos of Sheila to the Sun reporter - he says it was "all Bamber"
