Simply saying "But I know she wouldn't/couldn't have, either way" not only smacks of sour grapes, it doesn't address how your reaction may have been if an author stated very clearly that they believed Jeremy was innocent. However vehement you may be about his innocence, your belief alone won't get him out. You need the back up of those whose voices can be heard. As of now, they seem to be in short supply.
