Nugnug I understand that a story emanating from a proven liar has to be scrutinized, but you and others are on a sticky wicket with this one and would do well to accept that the incident may well have happened. The fact that you all kick up such a fuss is indicative of your position that anything which puts Bamber in a bad light has to be shot down.

I know the tone of the debate has deteriorated of late because of the lull in new information available.

You completely overlook that Jeremy Bamber used exactly the same description of the photographs to Michael Fielder as he did to Colin Caffell, namely that "they show everything down to the last detail."

I have said all of that Steve, it's like talking to a wall. How would Fielder even know Bamber had such pictures unless he (Bamber) told him? This is a sticking point because although it doesn't mean Bamber is guilty, given the circumstances, it makes he the kind of person that might.

Ah ok - so only days before Bamber was talking to Colin about pictures in which he claimed "You can see everything right down to the last detail" - Bamber meets journo Michael Fielder who prints a story about him trying to sell explicit pictures claiming he said "You can see everything right down to the last detail"? From that you deduce Fielder just guessed?
