EXACTLY Steve. Thank-you for understanding where I was coming from. We keep hearing how he believed Nevill was an old man on the point of giving up yet we're expected to believe Jeremy trusted/EXPECTED him to put away a weapon HE was responsible for. I find it hard that Jeremy is forgiven for not showing the slightest remorse. Surely, the most natural thing in the world, even if he HAD expected Nevill to put the gun away, would have been for him to have said how much he wished he'd done it himself.

It was actually on the red forum where I first saw it and they're always right,aren't they ? It would certainly tie-in with my thoughts if that had been the case. I wonder !

Well my own mother did everything for bro. and me,even down to polishing our shoes for school and then as bro.got older and was in work,she carried on doing his washing,etc. My uniform was done at the hospital laundry so she didn't do that. It's surprising what some mothers did and still do,though to a lesser degree I imagine.

Jeremy didn't live at WHF. Mummies DON'T clean shoes for children who are in boarding school. It's doubtful that she ever did. There were girls employed to look after the children.

Oh I'd say that June made up for their absences once they returned home. It would have appeared that the rolling pin,etc did overtime with all the baking too,so she'd never have got out of the habit of making sure they were well cared for. Pity Sheila let her down-----but that's life.

Actually, it was the ammunition which he said he had left on the table. He didn't actually say he left the rifle on the settle, it was the magazine, he said he left the rifle propped up against a wall, Odd thing though according to PC Dermott, Jeremy said he had gone out to try and shoot the rabbits at 10pm - yet another time discrepancy!

Nonetheless, Lookout, which ever way we choose to see it, Jeremy was responsible for leaving out the gun he'd been using and it was used to kill 5 people. There are those amongst us who would wish, for ever more, that we'd put the gun away. Jeremy has said nothing.
