Susan,there was no blood drips,etc,leading from the bedroom downstairs to the kitchen that indicated that Neville had been upstairs.
Alias is right in saying that no blood was on Neville's side of the bed------------meaning that he wasn't shot upstairs because he hadn't been there. He may have attempted to have gone upstairs and was bashed for doing so,and so retreated back to the kitchen.

Had Jeremy done it,then he'd have timed it that they'd ALL been in bed,including his father,as Jeremy was no fighter and couldn't/wouldn't have attempted to have fought with his father,or he'd surely have come off worse,man to man. It was because Sheila was a woman,albeit an insane one,the reason that Neville didn't put up a fight.

No I cannot. No explanation. The lack of his blood upstairs is odd though, something is wrong here.

The bullet that grazed Nevill was found in the bedroom as were the 4 casing.  People keep ignoring the bullet.  Furthermore people keep ignoring that the police didn't retain the bedding let alone tested it so we have no basis to know whether any of Nevill's blood was there or not.  Nor do we know whether any of Nevill's blood was in the room because only 2 carpeting samples were taken- 1 sample was at June's and the other sample at Sheila's feet.  Only 5 of the drops in each sample were tested not all the drops.  We have no way to know whether any of the multitude of other drops that were in the bedroom belonged to Nevill.  There was blood in the hallway outside the master bedroom that was tested but so far as I can tell they were unable to successfully do a group test.  It had to be Nevill's though since he is the only victim that made it into the hallway.  His blood was found on the walls going to the kitchen so clearly he was wounded before he entered the kitchen.

The whole reason the struggle in the kitchen occurred is because the gun was empty so the killer couldn't shoot Nevill the killer had to render him unconscious before the killer could reload then shoot him 4 times in the head.  It is clear only the 4 shots to the skull were delivered in the kitchen.

It is actually very laughable to suggest that Neville would call Jeremy.  He would just make things worse. If he actually went inside WHF. Which he didn't.

Adam I understand you now you are saying Jeremy could have come up with a better story than the one Ralph phoned him.  Gotcha

Neville had several other better options. As my poll highlights. But according to Jeremy he chose to ring him. And ring the forth furthest away police station, Chelmsford.

Jeremy's best option was to phone the police and create the siege situation. Where he can spend several hours insinuating Sheila. The fake burglar/random stranger option was a non starter.
