I'm wondering if anyone that has served time with Jeremy could hold some information about the case?

Or even current/former prison staff?

Would be interesting to know

Jeremy didn't even tell Julie all the details.  Given his steadfast desire to get away with it instead of admitting his guilt means no way would he confess to a guard or fellow inmate.

There is someone who has posted on the closed facebook page. His comments were quite interesting. He was convinced he was innocent and commented how calm and determined he was.

half the prison population of the uk cant spell a word.that makes him more likely to be genuine.

im not sure how much it says about weather he did it or not i mean theses are the opinions of peopl who have been convicted of crimes that are almost as bad.

and someone can be likeable and obnoxious and innocent.

Apparently you can tell a lot about a person by the shoes they wear.

One of my mates was a screw at long lartin in the 90s. I don't know how to add pictures but I'll copy and paste his messages:

1. Well, even if he is innocent and his story is true about his sister he's such a psychopath they would never release him anyway.

2. He has a superior, arrogant and aggressive attitude like no other person I have met before or since. He scared me.

It was only a short conversation, but it interested me because I had heard mostly good things about Jeremy's character until then. I do know that Jeremy has never been found to have any form of psychopathy, so i know he's wrong when he says that. But I know this guy well, and for him to say that Jeremy scared him really struck a chord with me...

I know I'm only a lurker here but Patti can verify that I'm a real person! I can send her screenshots if necessary x

Hello Sparkle

I have a friend who has friends who have been on contact with Jeremy and they both made similar comments as your own friend.

I've often posted that " it takes one to know one ",but in this particular case,I'm not so sure.
A guy I know of has served 30 out of his 50 years in and out of various prisons and had actually come into contact with Jeremy while serving in the same one as him. This guy reckoned that Jeremy smuggled drugs " on his person "-----------questionable really, because if an ex-prisoner had this information, surely the prison officers would know ? Would it not have been in the press ? Why not ??

BTW,the said character is a druggie and not a nice person at all !! Is dubbed by police as being a " menace to society ".

How would a long term prison sentence - in a high security jail affect anyone - innocent or guilty?

I am not doubting the evidence posted or making excuses for him because I still don't know the truth . I have seen other statements saying he is still bewildered how he can be in jail and not be able to prove his innocence. I think I would be angry , bitter and untrusting if I was innocent . If he is guilty I think you would have to understand why he has pleaded innocence all this time , and as none of us are mind readers I am  sure that would be a futile exercise

So this person was saying even if  he was innocent he should not be released as he is mentally ill now

Surely that would have to be diagnosed officially before it could be used as an argument?
